Classes

When students arrive at the English Language Camp, they will take a placement test to determine the English proficiency of each studnet in listening, reading, and writing. Classes of no more than 12 students will be arranged according to the test results. Classes will be help from 8:30 am to 1 pm Monday through Friday. All classes will stress spoken English and will include instruction, class participation, and homework. Classes will be graded for academics and effort.

Depending on the profiency of the students the classes will focus on:

  • Listening
    • For beginning English students
    • Viewing classic videos for language acquisition
    • Development of English conversation
  • Reading
    • For intermediate English students
    • Reading classic children's novels for language acquisition
    • Building English conversation skills
  • Writing
    • For advanced English students
    • Writing exercises for language proficiency
    • Perfecting English communication skills
