Co-curricular Programs

Most of our High School students participate in Acaciawood clubs and sports. Junior High students can join only the ASB and Community Service Club. There are no co-curricular clubs for Elementary students.

On average, many of these students participate in two clubs or sports. The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) sports that the School offers include basketball and swimming for boys and volleyball and swimming for girls. Our boys’ basketball team has advanced into the CIF playoffs for the last six seasons, our girls’ volleyball team has advanced into the playoffs for the last three seasons, and one swimmer advanced to state finals for the last three seasons.

Depending upon the number of students per year, we offer a junior varsity team for younger High School students. Over the years, these sports have increased in popularity so that now over 90% of the High School students participate in one of these three sports.

Junior High and/or High School students actively participate in the student government, the Associated Student Body (ASB). and all the clubs, including Yearbook, Community Service, and Multimedia Publishing clubs. Additionally, a small number of students do volunteer work outside of School, hold part-time jobs, participate in non-School sports, and take music lessons.
